These terms govern the use of PetFoodStats, a nutritional analysis and scoring service for pet food.

Access to the service

Access to the catalogue and product pages is free. Some features (favourites, advanced comparator, pet profiles) require a free account or premium subscription.

User accounts

Users agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep their credentials confidential. Any abusive or automated use of the service may result in account suspension.

Scoring system

Scores and grades assigned to products result from a proprietary algorithm based on nutritional criteria and thresholds that involve interpretation and editorial judgement. A lower-rated product may be more suitable for a specific animal than a higher-rated one. Scores do not account for digestibility, bioavailability or actual raw material quality. They are a decision-support tool, not absolute truth. Scores may change with algorithm updates without prior notice.

PetFoodStats does not provide veterinary advice. The information presented does not replace a professional consultation. For any medical condition (kidney failure, heart disease, diabetes, etc.), only a veterinarian is qualified to recommend appropriate nutrition.

Intellectual property

The scoring system, algorithms, analyses and all editorial content are the exclusive property of PetFoodStats. Any reproduction, systematic extraction or reuse without authorisation is prohibited.

Scraping prohibition

Automated data extraction (scraping, crawling, data mining) is strictly prohibited, whether by bots, scripts or any other automated means. Any violation will result in immediate blocking and may lead to legal proceedings.

Limitation of liability

PetFoodStats does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of nutritional data displayed. Data entry errors, collection mistakes or unintegrated reformulations may exist. The publisher disclaims all liability for any direct or indirect consequences resulting from the use of scores, recommendations or data from the site, including any harm to an animal's health.

Changes

PetFoodStats reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of substantial changes. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
